Visual Fables: Gordon Glyn-Jones
27 – 29 November 2025
Exhibition opening hours: 11am – 5pm
Born from a synthesis of intuition, rhythm, and improvisation, Gordon’s visual fables are living, breathing entities. The works begin with no set destination in mind, but build through flow, repetition, adaptation and mutation. They challenge literal interpretation and encourage open creative dialogue between viewer and artwork. In essence, you are invited to immerse yourself in an entirely different world.
Gordon Glyn-Jones (BA Fine Art, Michaelis, University of Cape Town) studied under Helen Leiros at Delta Gallery, Zimbabwe . He works in graphite and ink, and has recently returned to oil painting, his original major. He also publishes articles on African art and teaches art.
